BRUCE ARMSTRONG (B.1957)

 

Born in 1957, Bruce Armstrong is an artist known predominately for his large public sculptures in Melbourne and Canberra including Eagle located in the Docklands precinct and the eight metre tall Owl in Belconnen. 

Graduating in 1981 from the Royal Melbourne Institute of technology with a degree in Fine Art, Armstrong's works can be found in state and national collections including the National Gallery of Victoria, Art Gallery of New South Wales, National Gallery of Australia and the National Portrait Gallery.
